Hoka’s Speedgoat franchise is one of the most respected in trail running, praised for its performance over long distances and technical terrain while maintaining the brand’s dedication to cushioning and comfort.

The latest entry to the line, the Speedgoat 7, brought supercritical foam, an updated upper and improved fit to the party earlier this year.

Now, the lauded red-hot trail runner finally has a shade to match its speed.

The Speedgoat 7 joins a selection of additional Hoka icons making their debuts in a limited assortment of monochromatic hues.

The most in-demand by a wide margin is the striking Bell Pepper/Bell Pepper colorway, which adds a fiery depth to the Speedgoat.

The spicy new shade is applied to every inch of the technical trail runner: the upper, eyestays, midsole, laces and even the rugged Vibram outsole are outfitted in the bold, orangey-red hue.

Subtle reflective details appear across the shoe, but the vegetable-inspired new colorway takes center stage.

Aside from its seasoned new look, this Speedgoat 7 retains all the tech that made it a superstar in the first place, including supercritically-foamed EVA, added gaiter integration, an updated heel collar and a stretchy, patent-pending vamp for extra comfort.

Availability and pricing

The Speedgoat 7 in Bell Pepper Bell Pepper is quickly selling through in men’s sizing, and while there is a wider selection of women’s sizes available, those are also dwindling.
