New Balance traces its roots back to 1906, with plenty of notable milestones along the way, but it’s in just the last decade that the American footwear and apparel brand has become a darling of the fashion world.

The brand has been on a hot streak, rolling out one standout silhouette after another across both performance and everyday casual categories.

Along those lines, the upcoming TF100 pairs sculptural design with technical engineering, refining the balance of all-day comfort and style.

Smooth operator

While many of New Balance’s lifestyle sneakers lean toward classic “dad shoe” style, the TF100 strides in a different direction.

The upcoming release takes a more sophisticated approach, featuring an unlikely pairing of a sporty silhouette with a textured, refined suede upper.

Underfoot, the TF100 features New Balance’s propulsive FuelCell foam, which offers a smooth and responsive ride. Split into two sections with a cutout in the middle, and the midsole pairs with a continuous rubber outsole for traction and stability.

There’s an all-black version of the TF100 live on New Balance’s site right now, but the upscale brown and black variant won’t be available until next week.

Availability and pricing

The TF100 will be available starting on April 29th on New Balance’s website, retailing for $140.
