Honda’s New Riding Lawn Mower Is Faster Than Your Car

192 horsepower of grass-cutting prowess.

In the race to build the fastest lawnmower on earth, there are apparently none better than Honda, whose original Mean Mower held the throne for faster mower (116 mph) from 2014 to 2015, before Norweigan Speed Factory created a 133 mph freak of engineering. Now, Honda is coming back for the speedmower crown with the world-beating Mean Mower Mk. 2, a grass menace that promises a stupid 134 mph. Using the engine from the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade motorcycle, the quickest mower money can build pumps out 192-horsepower. Honda even claims it can cut the grass at speeds up to 100-mph.

Because this wasn’t ridiculous enough, the attempt to break the record will see a stunt driver from Fast & Furious take the wheel.
