The second release from Beam-Suntory’s award-winning high proof bourbon makers at Booker’s was crafted with the season in mind.
Aged more than six years and clocking in at 130 proof, Booker’s new Backyard BBQ bourbon doesn’t stray far from the brand’s staple high-proof, unfiltered formula. Its name comes from the company’s founder and his proclivity for the summer barbeque party. Per Booker’s, the tasting notes: “On the palate, rich butterscotch, brown sugar, dried cherries and a little allspice. The finish has a nice balance of toasted oak with caramel and brown sugar.”
Backyard BBQ is available now (albeit in a limited fashion), and bottles can be found for $70 or more.
