These American-Made Whiskey Glasses Are Molded from Actual Oak

They call back to how whiskey is made.

Lynn Read’s studio in Portland, Oregon, Vitrelux, specializes in one thing and one thing only — really, really pretty glass.

The shop’s latest release consists of whiskey tumblers and a cocktail set, molded from an actual log of wood then blown and finished by hand. It’s the brand’s first foray in the realm of barware, and it’s said to be a callback to the hardworking oak barrels and casks used in whiskey’s aging process. The maker notes that due to the nature of handmade goods, every set and glass will be slightly different.

The tumblers are available as a pair or as a larger set, complete with a cocktail vessel, stir stick and the two tumblers.
