Ember, the coffee mug company that won the race to temperature controlled mugs (both travel and home mugs), just released a white version of its travel mug.
More interestingly, Ember worked with Apple on it. This collaboration resulted in a new feature on the Ember app, which an Ember representative describes as, “an integration with Apple Health that will allow users to track their caffeine consumption throughout the day. Users will be able to use Health app data to understand how their caffeine consumption affects their heart rate and sleep patterns, which contribute to their overall picture of health and wellness.” Ember also released a nifty video showing what it can do. Cheerfully for current owners of Ember mugs, the integration will work with any model of Ember mug — travel or home.
The Ember Travel Mug in white is available on Ember’s site and in the Apple store for its usual $150 price.
