A dream kitchen can mean different things to different people. To an affluent suburbanite, it may mean double farm sinks and a Sub-Zero. For cramped city dwellers it pretty much means anything with a dishwasher. Somewhere in the middle lies Kitchoo Compact Kitchens ($4700+).

The English company boasts a collection of “mini kitchens” that are made to fit into even the tightest of studio apartments without sacrificing the luxuries—or some may argue, necessities—of a complete cooking area. Meaning “good omen” in Japanese, each Kitchoo unit tucks and hides away sinks, induction cooktops, microwaves, and yes, even dishwashers (one unit even comes equipped with an exhaust range), to leave what looks like nothing more than a wet bar or buffet made of real wood and stone. How small is the footprint of these cook-and-carries? The website lists their dimensions in millimeters. And while you may have forgotten the conversion rate, all you need to know is that these little guys leave little excuse to not dream big.
