Those who don’t ride would probably be shocked to learn how much variety there is in the motorcycle world.

Yet recent two-wheeled news reveals the usual smorgasbord, complete with MX bikes, ADVs, scramblers, café racers, roadsters, superbikes, electrics, streetfighters, baggers and more.

Have doubts? Check out the roundup below and they’ll disappear faster than these motos when the light turns green.

White, blue, and red Honda Transalp 750 adventure motorcycle with gold rims and a tall windshield.Honda

Honda XL750 Transalp SP

This limited UK-only release goes retro via its color scheme, a white base festooned with red and blue graphics that recall Honda’s early forays into off-roading. The bike also boasts some rugged bolt-on accessories: an engine guard, front side pipe, skid plate and all required attachments. Perhaps the most throwback feature in this modern age? The 755cc engine is shifted via a classic 6-speed manual transmission — no E-Clutch in sight.

2027 Triumph Tracker 400

The Tracker 400 proudly wears its flat track-inspired heritage on its sleeve number plate, an aesthetic identity augmented by wide bars, a wind-splitting fly screen and sculpted knee cut-outs on the tank, plus a round LED headlight and mirrors. Yet the performance is wholly contemporary, thanks in large part to the class-leading 398cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine, tuned up to boost peak output to 41.4 horsepower at 9,000 RPM and 27.7 ft-lbs of torque at 7,500 rpm.

2026 Triumph Thruxton 400

This new sized-down Thruxton boasts classic café racer styling — clip-on bars, round bar-end mirrors, color-matched fairing, tank and bullet-seat cowl — and the same 398cc single cylinder engine as Triumph’s other popular small-displacement bikes, including the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 XC. However, Triumph has tuned this one’s beating heart to best those bikes, matching the Tracker 400’s 41.4 horsepower at 9,000 RPM and 27.7 ft-lbs of torque at 7,500 rpm.

2026 AJS JFT-125

At 125cc and making 12.5 horsepower, this retro-styled small wonder’s 6-speed manual-controlled four-stroke engine is obviously sized and powered more for urban and rural roads than it is the highway. But with a dry weight of only 282 pounds, it should prove delightfully nimble, even for newer riders. Just get ready to one foot it if you are on the shorter side — the seat height is 32.3 inches.

Ducati Panigale V4 Márquez 2025 World Champion Replica

Limited to 293 units, this moto mirrors the livery of 7-time MotoGP champ Marc Marquez’s Desmosedici race bike, but along with several special-edition touches, it boasts a number of performance upgrades over the standard Panigale V4. These include aerodynamic Corner Sidepods, World Superbike-derived brakes, a host of carbon-fiber components and a low-profile Akrapovič exhaust with dedicated engine mapping that helps the 1,103cc engine make a claimed 218.5 hp at 13,500 rpm and peak torque of 90.1 lb-ft at 11,250 rpm.

2026 CFMoto 800MT ES

Developed in partnership with KYB, this bike’s relatively rare semi-active suspension is capable of electronically stiffening up for a sporty ride on smooth surfaces, then relaxing on rockier terrain, easing the punishment on your body. The 799cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine packs plenty of punch too, making a claimed 89.9 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 49.4 lb-ft of torque at 8,000 rpm.

Verge TS Pro

Boasting a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 124 mph, the torque-y 2026 TS Pro strongly resembles its Guinness World Record-setting predecessor. The big difference is its fuel source: Donut Lab’s new solid-state breakthrough, which can add up to 186 miles of range in less than 10 minutes — and comes in a “Large Battery” format (for $5,000 more) that still fits in the cradle yet promises an insane 370 miles of range.

2026 Honda CB500 Hornet

The motorcycle formerly known as the CB500F returns for 2026 with a notable $1,000 price reduction. It remains as approachable as ever, thanks to a slipper clutch, forgiving suspension, ABS, a 31.1-inch seat height and a 414-pound curb weight. Meanwhile, the 471cc engine still has plenty of sting, to the tune of 47 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 32 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm.

2026 KTM 125 Duke

The stellar big boy looks, gridlock-fighting 125cc engine and sub-$5,000 price tag are compelling, but the real story here is supreme approachability. That comes courtesy of a relatively low 31.4-inch seat, 340-pound curb weight, forgiving suspension (nearly six inches of front and rear travel) and all-new cornering ABS and supermoto ABS. The 125 Duke also outpunches its weight with a 5-inch full-color TFT display, a pair of ride modes and full LED lighting.

2026 KTM 1390 Super Adventure R

Bringing superbike performance (and a 546-pound curb weight) to the trails, this mega ADV sees its engine grow from 1301cc to 1350cc, translating to a formidable 173 horsepower and 107 ft-lbs of torque. The latest edition is also tougher, more capable and higher tech, boasting a vertically oriented 8-inch TFT display that taps into a host of features, including four standard ride modes — Rain, Street, Sport and Offroad — plus a Custom one you set yourself.

Ducati Desmo450 MX Factory

The Desmo450MX was already a champ, but this Factory edition ups the ante big time, headlined by a full titanium Akrapovič exhaust system packing its own engine mapping, boosting that 449.6cc dynamo’s specs to 63.5 hp at 9,400 rpm with 39.5 lb-ft of torque at 7,500 rpm. Lighter than its predecessor at just 229 pounds, this race-ready ace also boasts a holeshot device, which compresses the front fork when starting, increasing stability and pick-up out of the starting gate.
Green and black Harley-Davidson adventure motorcycle with dual side panniers and a top case.Harley-Davidson

2026 Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 Limited

This premium edition of Harley’s innovative off-road-ready moto invites you to embark on epic adventures with smart factory-installed accessories, headlined by a rugged aluminum top case and side cases offering 7,321 cubic inches (120 liters) of storage space. Other key standard features include a muffler guard, aluminum skid plate and radiator guard, Screamin’ Eagle quickshifter and of course the Revolution Max 1250 motor making 150 horsepower and 94 ft-lbs of torque.
Black and red Harley-Davidson CVO ST motorcycle with saddlebags and a front fairing.Harley-Davidson

2026 Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide ST

With roots dating back more than 40 years, an iconic bagger reaches the apex of its evolutionary chart with this CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations) edition. A Heavy Breather intake, floating front rotors, eight ride modes (including Track and Track+) and remote-reservoir suspension add up to a street-legal superbike. Making it all possible is the beating heart, a 1,983cc Milwaukee-Eight 121 High Output motor making 127 hp and 145 ft-lb of torque.
