The most dangerous part of bike riding is making sure everyone around you can see you. Your visibility as a rider is especially important when commuting around sunrise and sunset. ShineOn wants to make it extremely easy for motorists to spot cyclists with its new bike light. The dual light features a spotlight over your front wheel and a rainbow light that illuminates the cyclist. The rainbow light stops at the rider’s shoulders so that it won’t blind them on the ride. It’s also waterproof and comes with a micro-USB rechargeable battery and should last for up to five hours.
ShineOn Dual Beam light launched on Kickstarter and is already 22 percent funded after just two days. Pledge $88, and you’ll get one of the Dual Beam bike lights to come March 2020.
