When you really think about it, G-Shock and Yeti have a lot in common.

Both brands make some of the toughest, most durable products in their respective categories. For Yeti, its seemingly bombproof drinkware has earned it quite the reputation for consumers wanting a de facto option that will last them years.

G-Shock has a similar reputation. Founded back in the ‘80s on the revolutionary idea of creating a wristwatch that was virtually indestructible, the Japanese firm is still the industry leader in that regard.

But durability hasn’t been these companies’ only calling cards. Both G-Shock and Yeti have design languages that have earned them a place among the everyman — not just those looking for the toughest of the tough.

This Father’s Day, the two mainstays have collided to acknowledge their shared dedication to perfecting the balance of form and function.

Midnight Rambler

If you’ve considered getting Dad a G-Shock this year, now’s the best time. Not only has the watchmaker been killing with new releases like the carbon-and-steel MTG-B4000B tool watch or The Mandalorian and Grogu limited-editions.

Except now, when you spend at least $300 from G-Shock’s website, you get a free Yeti tumbler (a $35 value for the standard version).

This particular Rambler 20oz is a special collab version of the vessel with co-branding on the matte black exterior. Along with standard Yeti branding, a silver “G-Shock” emblem matches the stainless steel trim on the top and bottom of the tumbler.

On top, you also get Yeti’s Magslider lid that’s perfect for sipping on the go. It’s built with dishwasher-safe 18/8 stainless steel, double-wall vacuum insulated and cupholder compatible.

Which watch(es) to pick

Now for the million-dollar (or three-hundred-dollar) question. Which G-Shock should you select for this promo?

Well, if you want a one-and-done option that fully covers your $300 requirement, the Full Metal 2100 or 5000 series models are always a great choice, and perfectly gift-worthy.

If your budget is a bit lower, however, the Mudmaster is another solid pick, especially for any outdoorsy dads out there. Likewise, the more extreme Rangeman can fit the bill. The yellow colorway is currently discounted at over $100 off.
