When you really think about it, G-Shock and Yeti have a lot in common.
Both brands make some of the toughest, most durable products in their respective categories. For Yeti, its seemingly bombproof drinkware has earned it quite the reputation for consumers wanting a de facto option that will last them years.
G-Shock has a similar reputation. Founded back in the ‘80s on the revolutionary idea of creating a wristwatch that was virtually indestructible, the Japanese firm is still the industry leader in that regard.
But durability hasn’t been these companies’ only calling cards. Both G-Shock and Yeti have design languages that have earned them a place among the everyman — not just those looking for the toughest of the tough.
This Father’s Day, the two mainstays have collided to acknowledge their shared dedication to perfecting the balance of form and function.
