Founded by industry vet Kim NG in China’s knife capital of Yangjiang, Kansept Knives has rolled out a breathtaking array of blades in just five years of existence.
Though I’ve been impressed by several offerings from the brand and its more affordable little bro, Tenable, none stand out more than the one named after Nordic mythology’s most badass wolf.

Kansept knows it, as between the two labels, literally dozens of variants of the Fenrir are currently available.
Still, with notable upgrades to the lock and handle, the new Fenrir Frame Lock just might be the finest in all the land.
Two cuts above
The less immediately noticeable but more “street credible” upgrade here is the introduction of a frame lock.
This particular mechanism, integrated into the frame, is the premium alternative to the more common liner lock.
