Nature is a balm to our frantic modern lives.

Our minds and bodies find renewal in the outdoors, and occasionally, a product comes along that deepens our connection to the healing, soothing beauty of the natural world.

End.

The debut collaboration between End., the leading British retailer, and the popular Swiss sportswear brand On combines technical performance features with a relaxed aesthetic touch, resulting in a tranquil shoe designed to thrive on trails.

Serenity now

On and End. imbued the Cloudhorizon END. with lofty goals: the shoe is meant to embody both brands’ pursuit of progressive products and symbolize their “shared dedication to industry leading design.”

That’s pretty heady stuff, but the shoe is also meant to celebrate End.’s 20-year anniversary, which is a lot easier to wrap the mind around.

In any case, the new shoe is definitely cool, no matter the lens you view it through.

End.

On and End. retained the Cloudhorizon’s technical components, which include its patented CloudTec Phase and Helion superfoam cushioning and reliable Missiongrip rubber outsole.

The largest changes to appear in the limited-edition, members-only shoe are aesthetic: the upper is made from a combination of synthetic suede and recycled materials, rendered in a soothing “Ivory and Leaf” colorway.

The almost-ombre upper subtly shifts from off-white to pale green toward the heel, and co-branding can be found on the suede tongue and heel pull tabs.

The heel also features debossed End. branding, while On’s logo can be found on the shoe’s sidewall.

The entire shoe is constructed to nurture a soft, tactile feel, with the lace toggle closure accommodating subtle adjustments in fit.

Availability and pricing

The Cloudhorizon END. is available for £170 (~$227) on On’s website, but sizes are selling out quickly. You can also find the shoe on End.’s official website, with a wider selection of sizing still available.
