Yeti follows a familiar playbook when it comes to retiring seasonal colors: mark them down, move them out, and make room for whatever is next.
But the current Cherry Blossom sale stands out from the usual clearance cycle. This is one of the more overlooked colorways Yeti has released in recent years, and the sale includes a wider range of product categories that typically don’t appear during these events, including some of Yeti’s newest product launches.
A trending color with an extra bonus
Cherry Blossom is not your typical Yeti seasonal drop. As we noted when the color first launched, it is one of only a handful of color options in Yeti’s Rambler lineup to feature a textured finish. Rather than the typical smooth DuraCoat coating, the sandpaper-like surface adds real grip to an otherwise slippery surface.
The two previous colorways to get this treatment, Black Stone and Grey Stone from the Gritstone collection, are now discontinued and frequently pop up on the secondhand market for significantly more than retail. Cherry Blossom appears to be following the same path.
