Every single day, our style team filters through millions upon millions of style articles, clothing pieces, collection launches, brand parties, blogger fads, runway shows, fashion shoots, lookbooks and many, many more stimuli to stay on top of what’s hot in men’s fashion. In spite of all that noise, we’ll keep things simple here: just four things we’re into right now, updated each week.
Nonnative for Pilgrim Surf + Supply AW 2017 Collection
Brooklyn’s Pilgrim Surf + Supply teamed up with Japanese brand Nonnative for a Japan-exclusive collection of Fall staples. It’s inspired by classic outdoor clothing, but it’s been nipped, tucked and viewed through the looking glass.
Todd Snyder + Rocky Mountain Featherbed Liner Down Jacket
Rocky Mountain Featherbed started in the ’60s and made durable, warm outerwear for people in the greater Wyoming area. After going out of business in the ‘80s, it was revived by the Japanese brand 35 Summers in 2005. This collab with Todd Snyder has everything you want in a mid-weight jacket for fall: down insulation, a slim profile and a double-zip closure with snap buttons. Plus, that color is exactly what you need in your wardrobe.
Vinyl Ranch Country & Western Tee
Vinyl Ranch has a rotating array of tongue-in-cheek tees referencing numerous artists in the country idiom. Want an odd Willy Nelson shirt? What about Merle Haggard or George Strait? This is your brand. And each shirt is hand screen printed in Houston, Texas.
Jacques Marie Mage Molino Sunglasses
These chunky Wayfarer-esque frames are inspired by the architect Carlo Mollino. Handmade in Japan from black and tortoiseshell acetate, they feature G-15 green glass lenses and sterling silver hardware. They’re a distinctive frame that will set you apart from others, but if you’re into them, buy now: only 300 of these frames were made.
