Iron Heart’s new flannels are quite possibly the last flannels you’ll ever buy. They’re made in Japan from 12-ounce ultra heavy Aspero cotton fabric which features a single-brushed face and double-brushed interior (for added softness against the skin). Aspero is a wild cotton found in the foothills of Northeast Peru. Because it’s not farmed or mass-produced, it is more environmentally friendly than even organic cotton. It is also highly prized for its fineness, softness, strength and volume (warmth).

The style features Western plackets and pockets, Permex snap buttons and felled seams. For an additional $25, you can choose to upgrade the snaps to one of five heavier-duty styles. Available in both green and red small block check colorways, the Ultra Heavy Western Shirt retails for $350. Sure, that’s a lot to pay for a flannel, but the highest quality materials and construction guarantee this shirt will be around years longer than similar styles from other brands.
