The latest jacket from San Francisco-based Taylor Stitch is made with custom-developed 13-ounce waxed wool. The wool is sourced from esteemed English mill Abraham Moon and is weatherproofed by Halley Stevensons in Scotland. The fabric, like waxed cotton, is water-resistant, long lasting and relatively affordable.
Made in the U.K., the Rover Jacket is lined with 10-ounce British cotton moleskin and features three gusseted snap-closure pockets (a stylistic nod to classic British outerwear brands). The jacket includes a two-way brass YKK zipper, custom matte-black YKK snaps and matte-black armpit grommet vents.
Priced at $348, this is a lot of jacket for the money. If you’re in the market for a mid-weight coat that has classic styling and unique materials, this should be at the top of your list.
