Viberg’s latest boot is a hiking-style shoe that’s giving other pairs on the trail a run for their money. Earlier this year, the brand began using Hyperlapse, a futuristic leather that bonds cowhide with ultra-strong Dyneema fibers to create a material that’s both extremely thin, yet unbelievably strong. In fact, Dyneema touts itself as being 15 times stronger than steel by weight.
Fix that to their Pachena Bay boot with heritage-quality details like Goodyear welt construction, padded collars, D-ring lacing system, and a durable Vibram Morflex sole, and you’ve got the best of both past and present.
