The Stinson already takes on many forms. What’s one more?

Hoka revived the 2012 trail runner back in 2024, only to then make it the halo shoe of its collaboration with Haven last year.

Now the brand has decided to retool the shoe for warm-weather pursuits, transforming the design into a summer-ready slip-on of sorts.

Dubbed the Stinson Breeze, the model retains the so-called “Zero Gravity Technology” of the original, as evident by lines of barely discernible text on the side of its massive midsole.

But that’s pretty much where the similarities end.

Gone are the Stinson’s lightweight mesh upper, bright accents and signature TPU overlays.

Instead, the Stinson Breeze features a cut-out leather upper with a neoprene vamp and metal hardware, reminiscent of what Hoka put on the Ora Primo EXT.

It’s also all black, with Hoka clearly positioning the hybrid shoe for an urban clientele.

However, a protective rubber toe cap preserves the Stinson’s decade-old DNA as a trail-born cult classic.
