It can take some shoes decades to develop any degree of street cred. The C1ty Premium got it from the get-go and not just on name alone.

The design borrows several elements from the General Purpose Shoe, one of Nike’s high-profile collaborations with artist Tom Sachs, including a molded cup sole and microfiber collar.

But it also ups the ante with hardwearing materials, such as metal eyelets and military-grade Cordura in place of traditional mesh underlays.

Premium build, bargain price

The additions give the “Premium” version of the C1ty shoe a distinct tactical edge, especially when showcased in a triple-black colorway.

However, the label now feel like a misnomer … at least judging by the price.

That brings the price down to just $64 (down from $115), easily making it one of the best-value buys in Nike’s entire catalog.
