Salomon has reigned supreme as the Gorpcore-turned-fashion-essential of the past few years, with its XT-6 gracing the feet of outdoor enthusiasts and city-centric trend setters alike.

In October 2025, the French high-performance outdoor brand collaborated with Parisian luxury fashion house Maison Margiela’s sub-label, MM6, on the wildly popular MM6 x Salomon XT-MM6 model, when high demand led to quick sell-outs.

For those who missed out on the first release, you’re in luck; MM6 and Salomon have quietly released a new lineup of their viral shoe in a trio of striking new colorways.

Three’s a crowd

Designed to be a more lifestyle-oriented counterpart to the inline XT-6, MM6 and Salomon’s signature sneaker maintains the updated sporty silhouette and technical materials that made it a star in the first place, including a new outsole, wider toe box and revised branding.

The lifestyle shoe retains its technical looks and feature set, as well as comfort-focused elements like a wider toe box for all-day wear.

Additional features consist of bonded trim throughout the shoe, a low-profile lace-up closure, padded collar, mesh lining and capable, treaded Contagrip rubber sole.

The update for this year comes in the form of three eye-catching colorways. Sunny Lime is the most vibrant of the trio, featuring a neon green upper paired with black overlays, a navy accent along the midsole and silver and muted green detailing.

Asparagus Green (my personal favorite) isn’t the bright green you’d expect from its name; instead, this option features an off-white upper, vibrant blue midsole stripe, grey structural overlays and contrasting white laces.

Finally, the Black Asphalt colorway is the most neutral of the new iterations, sporting a black upper, laces, midsole and outsole, with flat grey overlays and taupe accents along the back heel/outsole.

The re-release of the XT-MM6 has discreetly flown under the radar, which means the three new colorways are still in stock … for now.
