After ten years working in the fashion industry and another five years covering it online, I’ve accumulated what some might call “too much clothing.”

Ironically, I tend to gravitate toward a handful of items and wear them into the ground.

This summer, my go-to blazer and favorite new garment is the Italian Linen Silk Double Stripe Sport Coat from Todd Snyder.

Light beige blazer with subtle vertical stripes in a slightly darker shade, featuring two buttons on the front, four buttons on each cuff, a notched lapel, and a chest pocket. The blazer is laid flat on a multicolored patterned rug with blue, orange, and cream tones.

It is an unstructured, unlined blazer made from 60 percent linen and 40 percent silk. It has a soft shoulder, double vents and two buttons.

My favorite feature is the double patch pockets. I wish it had a complete set of patch pockets, but I can live with the vented breast pocket.

The creamy white color has grayish-green and light blue vertical stripes of varying widths, resembling a faded cricket blazer. I have found that it looks best with washed-out jeans and navy chinos, and I prefer a plain white t-shirt underneath.

Sprezzatura

For 2025, America’s top menswear designer was heavily influenced by classic Italian tailoring, and this blazer encapsulates that vibe. It is perfect to throw on with chinos and loafers for a sprezzatura look.

The linen and silk blended fabric has a raw, boucle-like texture with little nubs throughout that enhance the jacket’s nonchalant appearance. It elevates casual attire without looking stuffy, and getting it a little rumpled only adds to the appeal.

The Italian Linen Silk Double Stripe Sport Coat might be the best item from Todd Snyder’s Summer 2025 collection, and it is definitely the most complimented item I’ve worn all summer.

Best of all, Todd Snyder is having a massive end-of-summer sale with some of the brand’s best suiting and blazers selling for up to 50 percent off.

Something for everyone

I’m aware that my favorite blazer of 2025 is an acquired taste, but Todd Snyder has blazers to suit every man’s taste in this incredible sale.

There are reliable favorites like a black 100 percent cotton pique knit and a gray and black herringbone in a linen-silk blend.

All the blazers have an Italian lean with no lining, soft shoulders and patch pockets. There are also several full suits to choose from.

Here are four more of the best Todd Snyder summer blazers on sale, with most sizes still available.

A kick-around blazer to wear all year

Made from a 100 percent cotton pique knit, this casual blazer can be worn in any season. With patch pockets and a durable knit, it can function like an elevated chore coat.

The black color allows it to be dressed up or down. You can wear this jacket with a tie to a wedding or with joggers to grab a coffee.

Herringbone knows no seasons

Herringbone blazers, especially the gray variety, are associated with tweed and cold weather. However, they come in lightweight fabrics like this 74 percent linen and 26 percent silk blend, which is ideal for warm weather.

A gray herringbone blazer is as classic as it gets. This one is perfect for work or evening attire and looks great with jeans.

A preppy classic

A brown herringbone jacket is a staple of American preppy style, made famous by brands like Ralph Lauren and J.Press. Todd Snyder offers a more relaxed take with an unstructured build and patch pocket.

The 100 percent linen fabric and light build make it an ideal summer blazer. The herringbone texture helps to disguise the rumpled look that is unavoidable with linen blazers.

Seersucker doesn’t have to be boring

Seersucker is commonly associated with blue and white stripes or any pastel color with white stripes. But the classic warm-weather fabric can also have a sharp edge.

This black seersucker blazer with double white pinstripes is quarter-lined, has patch hand pockets and has a vented breast pocket. Matching trousers are available to make it a full suit.
