Ultimate Ears released the Wonderboom 2, its smallest portable Bluetooth speaker, just a few weeks ago — and it’s already on sale. Normally $100, you can snag one from Best Buy or Amazon in a variety of different colors for just $80. It’s a pretty good deal considering the fact that some publications, such as 9to5Toys, have called the Wonderboom 2 “this summer’s best Bluetooth speaker.”
UE’s Wonderboom 2 is the next-generation of the company’s original Wonderboom, which you can still buy for around $66 on Amazon. The new model looks nearly identical to the old one, but UE gave it a couple of key upgrades. It has more battery life (13 versus 10 hours) and better waterproofing. The new speaker can also be set up in a stereo pair with another Wonderbooom 2, which is neat and new.
