New Vintage-Inspired Watches From Our Favorite British Watchmaker

And a couple special editions for good measure.

Independent British watch company Bremont has just unveiled its new timepieces for 2017 in London (in lieu of Baselworld). For the most part, these are extensions of existing model families, but nonetheless, there’s a lot to love.

For starters, there is a completely new family of watches: the Aircon collection ($3,895+). Similar to the brand’s Solo watches, the Aircon is a tough (it uses the brand’s Trip-Tick case construction), aviation-inspired three-hander, but it gets a vintage-looking dial design and case shape. Bremont is also adding three new models to its Supermarine family of dive watches ($4,095+). The most notable change here from the standard Supermarine is a drastic change in case size — a drop from 45mm to 40mm. The watches also receive some vintage-looking dials, one of which is not dissimilar to the classic Bond Submariner. Both the Aircon and Supermarine watches use Bremont’s modified and COSC-certified version of the ETA 2829 automatic movement.

Also new are a revised pilot’s chronograph, new America’s Cup watches, a special edition for Jaguar and another limited edition celebrating Norton’s new N4RR superbike. All will be available this year, and they’re welcome additions to the brand’s portfolio.
