A Brooklyn-Based Watch Brand Unveils a Classy Field Watch in Brass

With dark warm tones and an affordable price tag, it’s a great option for your fall wardrobe.

After launching on Kickstarter in 2015, the Brooklyn-based Carpenter Watches has continued to grow its collection of field watch-inspired, entry-level mechanical watches. Its latest addition is the M11 Brooklyn Field, which takes on the same basic look and shape of the rest of its lineup but casts its 40mm case in brass in place of stainless steel. Inside that case is a Japanese-made Miyota 821A automatic movement. Complementing the brass case are brass-printed Arabic numerals that pop against a deep black dial. The matching black date wheel and lume’d hands are also nice touches. The whole thing comes affixed to a dark brown leather strap, the dark warm tones of which will pair nicely with a fall wardrobe.

The watch is available to order now for a very reasonable $625. The brand is only making 75 examples of the M11 Brooklyn Field, and given its tendency to sell out of limited models, consider ordering sooner rather than later.
