As you might have gathered from the name, the Timex MK1 is based on an old military watch design from Timex. It’s also one of our favorite budget timepieces, coming in under $100 and rocking a case made from aluminum. But while the standard MK1 plays to its field watch roots with subdued, under-the-radar dial options, a new collection from Timex does a complete one-eighty with a quartet of bold, neon-like color options.
Dubbed the MK1 “California,” the dials apparently take inspiration from the Golden State and are painted in bright blue, orange, yellow and pink with striped NATO straps added to match. Each one retails for $90 and is available form Timex right now.
