If the 1970s were the golden age of sports watches, then we’re living through the platinum age now.

Sports watches are red-hot, and have been for the better part of the last decade. From affordable brands to the top tier of luxury watchmakers, everyone is churning out excellent sports watches these days.

What is a sports watch, exactly? The definition is pretty nebulous, but for the purposes of this roundup, I’m defining a sports watch as a sporty/casual watch with good water resistance that’s both attractive and robust enough for daily wear.

They can have integrated bracelets or not, and I’m excluding anything that also be categorized as a tool watch, like divers and most chronographs.
