Breitling has outdone itself once again.
In 2025, almost exactly a year ago, Breitling introduced the B19 movement to its regular production line, with an extravagant Navitimer featuring a platinum bezel and a brilliant sky-blue dial. What I described at the time as the ultimate iteration of the iconic pilot’s watch has now been supplanted by a full-platinum build.

Breitling’s most impressive in-house movement, the Caliber B19 automatic, is now housed in a platinum case, topped with a platinum bezel frame and controlled by a platinum crown and pushers. It is the height of opulence for the historical tool watch brand.
The shimmering metal exterior contains a dark blue, slightly glossy, lacquered dial. It is designed to resemble the stratosphere, where Earth’s blue sky transitions to the darkness of space.

It continues the theme established by the sky-blue sunburst dial of the 2025 Navitimer B19 Chronograph Perpetual Timer and debuts alongside another new reference with an anthracite-gray dial and steel case, modeled after the darkness of near-Earth orbit.
