“Third time’s the charm” may be cliché, but there’s an enduring truth hidden in the old trope.

After all, experience is the best teacher. That’s especially true in the case of this capable, compact new multi-tool, which draws on its two previous iterations to deliver more functionality and less fuss.

Bit by bit

The Omnipro Wrench 3.0 promises to achieve what many multi-tools before it have failed to: offer functionality and utility in a small package, without sacrificing capability or weighing down your EDC loadout.

If that sounds like a promise you’ve heard before, here’s the difference: Team IF is using the first two versions of the all-in-one wrench to perfect its latest form factor.

The inaugural version focused on carry-friendly design. The second target improved capability, and this third take refines both goals.

The core of the Omnipro Wrench 3.0 is still the adjustable wrench, with a 0-18mm capacity designed to fit multiple nut sizes. There’s a built-in caliper scale lasered directly into the titanium body to achieve the most accurate fit.

Tools featured in the design include an eternal pen, phone stand, bottle opener, #11 scalpel, glass breaker and tritium slots.

Improvements come in the form of three driver positions: top, side and bottom.

The drive mode switch means the ratchet head can reverse direction instantly, without a tool.

Two finishes are available for the multi-tool: sandblasted titanium (pictured) and black PVD coating.

The bit extension bar improves reach and access, the bit storage has been redesigned, the blade is side-mounted in a safer position, there’s better pen access, and the bottle opener has been moved from the top to the rear, away from the wrench jaws.

The modular bit storage and extension rod are housed using the Omnipro’s magnetic snap-on system, which has also been upgraded.

In an effort to maintain long-term longevity, the entire Wrench 3.0 is built with Gr5 titanium (Ti‑6Al‑4V), the same alloy used in aircraft landing gear.

Availability and pricing

The Omnipro 3.0 has 18 more days left in its Kickstarter campaign, and is currently available for $159 as a Launch Day Special.

The full retail price will land at $259, and the multi-tool will start to ship in September 2026.
