Boat shoes are already a staple summer style, but Sperry’s new take on its more classic silhouette is more warm weather-ready than ever before.

Thanks to three material treatments, the Sperry x Colbo Authentic Original 2-Eye Boat Shoe looks and feels cooler than ever.

That perspective, when applied to one of the most well-known American footwear brands in existence, yields a shoe that is at once classical and contemporary, and built to last.

The collaboration Sperry x Colbo Authentic Original 2-Eye Boat Shoe sees the iconic model reworked in three new constructions; one is heritage-driven, and two are distinctly summery.

The most expected version is most likely the distressed beige leather; the new treatment is the most similar to a traditional Sperry boat shoe.

Thoroughly unexpected, on the other hand, are the linen and jute variants. The first is constructed with 100-percent Italian linen designed to develop a loved, worn-in aesthetic. The style is lined with a soft blend of silk and Lyocel, and features a sheep leather insole.

The natural jute style also highlights Colbo’s dedication to artisanal craftsmanship, and is designed with Italian jute, and the same lining an insole as the linen version.

All three styles include a leather and rubber plate outsole that combines a premium look with uncompromising comfort.

While Sperry’s standard leather 2-eye boat shoe typically retails around the $100 mark, all three of the limited-edition collaboration styles push well past $200, due to the handcrafted nature of their materials and construction.

The shoe is also available in distressed leather for $235.
