In the last year, KEF has introduced several new speakers.
This includes the Coda W, an entry-level wireless active speaker system with a ’70s-inspired design, as well as refreshed versions of its Blade loudspeakers, which cost $28,000 (or more). And KEF released its first new ultra-portable speaker in over a decade with the second-gen Muo.
Additionally, KEF introduced a truly elite Dolby Atmos soundbar, the XIO, which you can think of as a souped-up version of Sonos’s flagship Arc Ultra. It costs $2,500.
Now, the revered British hi-fi manufacturer has teased another new speaker to be introduced at the end of the month. And while details are sparse, it looks poised to excite audiophiles and high-end hi-fi fans.
KEF’s upcoming “luxury” speaker
In a blog post today, as well as Instagram, KEF has revealed that it will be introducing a new speaker on July 30th that will set “a new definition of luxury, one where visual artistry and acoustic mastery are composed as one.”
