Toward the beginning of this year, Kizer launched its Tomb EDC knife. This affordable, coffin-shaped oddity was a huge hit and sold out almost immediately.

Now, right on time for spooky season, the brand has brought that same flipper back from the dead with some appropriately on-theme upgrades in the Kizer Halloween Tomb.

A black folding knife with the phrase "TRICK OR TREAT?" printed on the blade, featuring a translucent handle with visible internal components and two purple buttons. The knife is placed on a surface decorated with fake spider webs, a large skeleton spider, and a skull, creating a Halloween-themed setting.
For the most part, the specs of this Tomb remain true to the original, but there are a few noteworthy changes.

Creepy cutter

Much of what made this knife such a big hit remains in this redux. That includes, most importantly, its affordable $70 price point.

Like its predecessors, it measures 7.62 inches in total, split between a 3.21-inch blade and a 4.41-inch handle. It also weighs just 3.14 ounces.

The knife retains its button lock, now done in purple with a matching pivot.

While the original came with numerous handle material options — wood, PEI, G10 and aluminum — this new version has only one option: acrylic. However, it retains its signature coffin shape.

Similarly, it maintains its button lock and front flipper deployment. Not to mention, the blade is still crafted from Nitro-V steel — an affordable yet reliable and easy-to-maintain option.

A femur dream

One of the things that made the original Tomb special was its skeletonized liners. And when I say skeletonized, I mean it both literally and figuratively — they have material cut out of them in the shape of a human skeleton.

The new version retains that same structure, with a twist: this time, it glows in the dark. And since the handle scales are made of transparent acrylic, you can see the glow right through the handle.

The coolest upgrade to this creepy reissue is that the skeletal liner now glows in the dark.

To match the green-glowing liner, the pivot and button lock have been given a purple colorway. And the blade has the phrase “Trick or Treat?” printed on one side and a skull icon on the other.

Obviously, none of this changed its functionality (apart from the glow-in-the-dark liner being easier to spot in low-light conditions,) but it makes for a fun and festive upgrade to an already interesting and unique EDC knife.

There is also a colorful sticker with a skull design and the word "ACTION" inside the box. The box lid has a gold circular logo with the words "RESPECT," "INNOVATION," and "SHARING" around a handshake symbol. The background includes a wooden surface and part of an orange pumpkin decoration.
The knife comes entombed alongside a cleaning cloth and some stickers.

Coming SoOoOon

The Kizer Halloween Tomb will be unearthed on October 1 for $70. However, if the first release is any indication, it will sell out extremely quickly.
