If you thought Yeti was done expanding into new product categories, think again: the outdoor brand determined to make everything you own a premium experience has released dog toys, a grill, carbon steel cookware, gigantic water jugs and more in the past few months alone.

Smooth as silk

This past fall, Yeti acquired Helimix, a Florida-based drinkware company known for its hexagonal shaker bottles designed to smoothly blend powders into shakes without hassle or mess.

Following the $38 million cash deal, Yeti took the existing design and gave the bottle its premium touch, resulting in a shaker bottle that eclipses even its own original design.

For what it’s worth, Yeti wasn’t a stranger in the gym prior to the release of the Yonder Shaker Bottle; the brand’s products are lauded for their durability, and it’s not uncommon to see a Yeti bottle or mug around fitness centers.

But Yeti’s new shaker bottle is different: it addresses a real gap in the marketplace — one felt by gymgoers who want the durability of Yeti and the convenience of a protein shake bottle, without the extra weight.

The Yonder Shaker Bottle is built using BPA-free, 75 percent recycled plastic that features patented vortex technology brought over from its acquisition of Helimix.
