At $225, you wouldn’t exactly call Yeti’s new daypack cheap. That is, until you look elsewhere in the brand’s catalog.

The Daytrip 20L Insulated Backpack arrives as the latest cold-storage solution with shoulder straps. But it’s far from the first one.

It undercuts similar backpacks in the Hopper series by at least $50, though the number doubles to $100 for one comparable in size and capacity.

Regardless of what you consider it, you can’t doubt the utility.

In the FAQs listed on the product page, the “zipper closure is not waterproof and we do not recommend submerging it.”

However, official images show it being used at the beach and even on a paddle board, so the materials are clearly durable and resistant to the elements.
