You may not know this, but Vans footwear is surprisingly popular in the construction business.
Roofers and flooring installers in particular favor the flat-soled skate shoes for their iconic waffle-sole grip and all-day comfort. Anyone who’s spent eight hours on a job site in traditional work boots knows why.

While the latest Vans release may be a tad too premium for the dust and debris of roofing or flooring work, it looks more like a work boot than any low-top Vans I’ve seen before, bridging the gap between heritage styling and modern cool.
The premium touch
The Premium Authentic V-Lug Shoe transforms the well-known Vans silhouette from simple skate shoe to work boot hybrid, thanks to a few notable upgrades.
The first, and most obvious, is the premium leather upper, which comes in two colorways: Potting Soil Brown (my personal favorite) and Dusty Rose Pink.
