The Old Skool, Classic Slip-On, Authentic and Sk8-Hi are among the most popular silhouettes from Vans, but the brand’s catalog runs much deeper than its core models.

In othr words, if you want a new style that captures the rebellious Off the Wall spirit but brings a fresh aesthetic to the table, you’ll have more than enough options to choose from.

The Premium Super Lowpro Trainer is one such under-the-radar recent release, continuing to pick up steam since its debut in February.

The low-profile, retro lifestyle shoe just received a pep in its step, thanks to a pair of neutral, elevated colorways.

Laced-up lay up

The Premium Super Lowpro Trainer draws directly from Vans’ extensive archives, counting 1980s low-profile trainers as its inspiration.

Preceded by Vans’ own Super Lowpro Sneaker in 2025, which was modeled off the brand’s Serio running line from the ’70s and ’80s, the Premium version of the vintage-leaning shoe makes a noticeable stylistic departure from the standard edition of the shoe.

That novel feature comes in the form of a dual lace wrap that crosses the upper, offering a unique visual component to the shoes.

The nostalgic style has received multiple new color treatments for summer, each highlighting its funky feature.
