If you’ve ever dreamed of slipping a Rolex Submariner Date onto your wrist—only to have the reality of waitlists (and your bank account) bring you back down to earth—Timex’s Harborside Coast has been an easy and affordable way to get your classic dive watch fix since it launched last year.
Though it’s decidedly bigger at 44mm than the aquatic icon, it mirrors the Sub’s hands, hour markers, bezel and cyclops hour window in a shockingly faithful fashion.
Now Timex has dropped the watch’s already approachable price by 25% with the special promo code SPRING25, bringing it down to just over $100.
This is a solid deal given current economic conditions, but it’s important to note that the watch’s original MSRP at launch was $109. It has increased from $129 to $139, making this deal an opportunity to buy the watch just below its original price before tariffs and inflation hit.
Familiar details

It’s easy to see the Rolex Submariner’s inspiration here with just one glance because the Harborside Coast mirrors most of the Sub’s key design features.
A unidirectional rotating bezel with markings that mirror the Sub’s distinctive layout, complete with smaller minute dashes for the first 15 minutes.

The dial features applied hour markers with a similar geometric pattern and proportions, while the Mercedes-style hour hand and lollipop seconds hand are unmistakable nods to the original.
The watch even includes a cyclops date window at 3 o’clock, amplifying the date for easy reading just like its inspiration. While purists will notice differences in the hand details and the minute track’s positioning on the rehaut rather than the dial, these are subtle variations. At arm’s length, the Harborside Coast captures the essence remarkably well.
