Forget the Tremor, This F-150 Gets a Boost of Off-Road Upgrades Thanks to This Iconic Ford Tuner

Roush Performance thinks it can do a better “off-road-lite” F-150 than Ford.

Ford may have the “off-road-lite” Tremor variant of the F-150. But Roush Performance thinks they can do better.

The iconic tuner of Blue Ovals just revealed a new package that cranks it up a few notches to make a new F-150 that’s equally capable on and off the road. It’s called the 2026 Roush F-150, and it’s the performance firm’s latest crack at doing up Ford’s best-seller.

If we were honest, the Roush F-150 does look a bit more bad-ass than the Tremor. But it’s also a lot more expensive.

It follows in the footsteps of the Roush F-150 Super Duty and past F-150 iterations. The non-Super Duty F-150 boasts a whole bunch of bespoke upgrades as part of the tuning firm’s package.

When equipped, the result is an F-150 that’s more capable than a base model while not being as hardcore as a Raptor.

More than just an appearance package

For those familiar with Roush’s work, the tuning firm does more than just spruce up the exterior and interior. In fact, the brand is all about performance.

As such, the 2026 Roush F-150 starts life as either a midgrade XLT or mid-upper Lariat. Then for, an additional $18,995, buyers can opt for the base package, which adds a whole bunch of worthy goodies.

Such incudes comprehensive suspension and performance upgrades like an in-house custom-engineered Roush Performance coil-over suspension kit, which adds up to two inches of ground clearance.

Roush also then adds 20-inch Satin Black Off-Road wheels wrapped in beefy 33-inch General Grabber A/TX tires, a custom Roush Performance cat-back exhaust system with laser-etched twin exhaust tips, and upgraded Roush hood heat exchangers for improved engine cooling and airflow efficiency.

Other upgrades include a bespoke grille design that improves intake flow with the Roush logo embedded in the middle, a more aggressive front bumper assembly and plenty of Roush badges all around.

The same treatments occur on the inside, with Roush aluminum pedal covers, a serialized dashboard plaque and custom-made Roush floor liners.

There’s a premium option too

Check all the options boxes and spring for the $24,995 premium package, and Roush adds even more fancy equipment.

When one goes full-send on the Roush makeover, the F-150 also gains amber- and white-colored auxiliary lighting for the exterior, an active exhaust valve for the cat-back system that enables a “loud” and “quiet” mode and an overhead auxiliary switch panel for more aftermarket add-ons.

The upholstery also gets redone with carbon fiber trim, and premium leather upholstery in two color options. The latter comes in either two-tone Coffee Brown & Black or single-tone Raven Black for a sportier appearance.

The best part: all 2026 Roush F-150s are backed by the firm’s 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty, and they can still be serviced at your local Ford dealer.
