The lines between city-specific and outdoor apparel continue to blur, with shoes, jackets and other technical pieces being designed not just to function well but look good doing it.

The latest entry in the rapidly growing category of outdoor/urban crossover apparel is a limited-edition shoe from Snow Peak and Keen, which delivers ample style and tons of functionality.

Engineered for it all

With combined 85-plus years of experience, heritage Japanese camping brand Snow Peak and legacy footwear company Keen know a thing or two about crafting quality gear, which makes their new collaboration all the more impactful.

The Snow Peak x Keen Hyperport H2 is a closed-toe sandal that combines minimalism, rugged materials and tons of brand expertise into one refined design, equally at home at camp or hanging around town.

The Hyperport H2 was first introduced to the Keen lineup in 2024 as a lightweight, max-cushioned model that could seamlessly move between urban and outdoor use, serving as the ideal foundation for the Snow Peak touch.

Engineered for versatile wear, the blacked-out collaboration model features an injected foam midsole, shock absorbing insole, grippy outsole with multi-directional lugs and a polyester webbing upper lined with a quick-dry material for active use.

The shoe also features a PFAS-free, durable water repellent and pesticide free odor control treatment, while the bungee closure makes for easy on and off.

There’s also an accompanying kids model, a more colorful take inspired by Snow Peak’s iconic Hozuki Lantern.

Availability and pricing

The Snow Peak x Keen Hyperport H2 is available on both the Snow Peak and Keen websites, retailing for $130. The kids’ model is priced at $67.
