There have been enough “heritage track shoe turned lifestyle reissues” to prove the trend’s staying power, but Puma is tapping into an even more niche lane: rock climbing-inspired sneakers.

The Klim debuted in 2003 as a climbing-influenced everyday shoe, but this latest revision of the Y2K stunner feels more connected to its earthy roots than ever.

Climbing …

The Klim was never a technical rock climbing shoe, but it’s always looked the part, thanks to its capable rubber outsole, low-profile, close-to-the-ground silhouette and sporty aesthetic.

In 2003, category crossover styles weren’t as expected as they are today, and the Klim flew under the radar as a more underground Puma release.

The 2026 archival reissue comes in two form factors: a quietly reissued 1:1 archive model, and a new Guizio collaboration.

This isn’t the first time the German sportswear brand has collaborated with the NYC-based womenswear brand; the latest partnership before the Klim was the moody Guizio x Puma Noir Speedcat, released in February 2026.

… climb on!

The Guizio x Puma Klim picks up where the 2003 model left off, delivering the same minimalist style, redone in an earthy, organic color palette.

The Alpine Snow variant of the sporty shoe features a creamy neutral base complemented by rich, dimensional overlays of distressed, premium leather.

The collab model comes with both brown and cream lace options, allowing for a more customized look.

While the in-line Klim is almost all the way sold out, the Guizio collab remains a diamond in the rough; the shoe is still available in most of its sizes at the time of this writing, although it is $20 more than the less style-forward option on Puma’s own site.

Availability and pricing

The Guizio x Puma Klim is available on Guizio’s website and through other retailers, with a $130 price tag.
