Chuck Taylors are known the world over for their timeless and straightforward style, but not necessarily their comfort.

Converse’s new ’90s-inspired Chucks aim to change that for good.

With a more generous build and an emphasis on heritage design, the Chuck Taylor Throwback celebrates what made the original iconic, while making it easier to wear than ever.

Kickin’ it old school

The Chuck Taylor Throwback, as the name not-so-subtly suggests, is modeled after the ’90s aesthetic that prioritized an oversized look and feel.

Part of the brand’s Icons Collection, the latest remix of the classic shoe belongs to the core collection of classic Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers that have established the brand’s unique DNA since its early origins.

The fatter laces, higher tape details and traditional canvas upper give the shoe a retro feel.

(That is, if you can call the ’90s retro … they were just yesterday, right?)
