Out of all the deals, the one on Klipsch’s The Sevens is the one that stands out the most. They’re nearly half off.

Klipsch’s powered speakers

Released in 2023, The Sevens is an incredibly versatile powered speaker system. They can be used as computer or TV speakers via USB-C and HDMI, respectively. They also have a built-in phono preamplifier (as well as phono line-in inputs), so you can use them with your turntable. And they support Bluetooth streaming.

Also, they look cool. The Sevens borrow design cues from Klipsch’s famed Heritage line of loudspeakers. Each speaker has a wooden cabinet and fabric grilles. (The only modern element is the metal controls, used to tweak volume and switch inputs, located on top of the primary speaker.)

Klipsch also makes The Fives and The Nines, which are smaller and larger (respectively) versions, but look and work almost identically to The Sevens. However, neither of those models are currently discouted.

The Sevens are the middle sibling of the company’s powered speaker systems. The Fives (not on sale) are the smallest and most affordable.

What’s the catch?

As for the deal, you may be thinking, ‘Why are they so steeply discounted?‘ And there’s a good reason: Klipsch released “next-gen” versions of The Sevens this past spring.

The brand-new The Sevens II are pretty significant upgrades over their first-gen predecessors. They feature Onkyo’s electronics and support Wi-Fi streaming, so they sound better and are even more versatile. That said, they’re also significantly more expensive.

The Sevens have a USB-C input, which allows them to easily be used as computer speakers.

Before the release of the new models, Klipsch was selling The Sevens for $1,499/pair. Now, The Sevens II currently sell for $2,000/pair. That’s a $500 increase.

Naturally, Klipsch is trying to clean house of the older models, so it’s discounting them quite aggressively. You can snag a pair for $800, which is 47% off. It’s a great chance to get an awesome deal on a pair of gorgeous powered speakers that are just a few years old.

Klipsch’s The Sevens come in two finishes: walnut with cream grilles or black with black grilles. Both models are currently discounted on the company’s website.
