Panerai’s Most Iconic Watch Now Comes With an In-House Movement
At this year’s SIHH, Panerai debuted the Luminor Logo Marina 3 Days Acciaio PAM776, part of the new Luminor Logo collection, which acts as both a nod to the first Luminor sold to the public back in 1993 and as the brand’s entry-level timepiece. But while previous Luminor Logo watches have used external movements, the brand is giving the PAM776 and other pieces in the Logo collection a new in-house movement, developed entirely by the brand at its Neuchâtel manufactury: the hand-wound P.6000 which boasts a lengthy, three-day power reserve.

The movement comes packed in a 44mm case, which retains the Luminor’s iconic silhouette and locking crown guard and is water-resistant to 100 meters. Meanwhile, the black dial comes adorned with heavily-lumed, hollowed dial numerals that, in conjunction with the Officine Panerai logo at six o’clock, make the watch a dead-ringer for the Luminor launched in 1993. What’s more, with a price range from $4,750 to $5,000, the PAM776 should prove to be the ideal entry-point for newcomers to the Panerai brand.

GORUCK Backpacks and More
Save up to 29%: If, like us, you want the bag you carry every day to be tough-as-hell but also look be pretty, and you want it to be packed with pockets and features but also be sleek then the chances are that, like us, you’ll dig nearly everything GORUCK produces.

Ex-special forces soldier Jason McCarthy founded GORUCK in 2008 because he wanted to create a backpack that would function for both servicemen fighting overseas and commuters heading in for a day at the office. Using those design perimeters, McCarthy came up with the GR1, an everyday backpack made of special forces-grade materials including YKK zippers and 1000-denier Cordura fabric.

The GR1 was well received and quickly saw success, so McCarthy expanded his collection and continues to do so today. Right now, a handful of GORUCK’s special-forces-grade bags are on sale from 15 to 29 percent off at Huckberry. There are aviator-style kit bags, a burly gym duffel, a small field pouch for organizing small items, and of course, the GR1. — Tanner Bowden
