Good automotive art is hard to come by. All too often it’s over the top or only strikes a chord with the smallest of enthusiast groups, but every once in while a few pieces pop up that automatically deserve wall space in your humble abode. That’s exactly the case with these elegantly simple prints by artist Matthew Hoss from his 10.and.2 collection.
From Matthew Hoss: “10.and.2 is a collection of original illustrations featuring my favorite vehicles as well as bespoke pieces. As a fan of offroad and rally cars, often times I add kits and accessories to these illustrations in order to make them truly overland bound.”
Keep in mind these prints aren’t unattainable and ridiculously expensive either, they start at just five dollars. Cars range from a Safari 911 to an FJ40 to more obscure four-wheelers like the pickup from the movie Tremors. The only question left is, do you get the Volkswagen Kombi with or without the Martini Racing livery? Wall space is being cleared at the Gear Patrol office, as we speak.
