For decades now, the Mercedes-Benz Unimog has served as the gold standard in off-road capability, versatility and toughness. From fire trucks to farming harvesters, it’s done it all.
As you’d expect to be the case with such a utilitarian vehicle, traditionally, the Unimog has been proven pretty spartan in its interior furnishings.

However, Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks has just unveiled a new take on the off-roader that it’s billing as the most powerful and luxurious example yet.
An 80th anniversary celebration
It comes based on the rugged and capable Unimog U 4023, and it’s the result of a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and Hellgeth Engineering. Together, the pair set out to make an off-roader befitting the 80th anniversary of the Special Trucks division.
