With its latest cordless vacuum, Dyson declared itself done with vacuums of the corded variety. Other than the obvious fact that the brand sees cordless vacuums as the way into the future, it also means cheaper corded vacuums. Cheaper corded vacuums like this four-year-old Animal Ball vacuum, that’s at its lowest price ever.
The Ball vacuum is corded, heavier than the wireless vacuums (just over 15 pounds) and more difficult to store in most situations as well. But, functionally, it’s on par with any wireless vacuum Dyson has ever made. It’s got a wider head, won’t need charging (the V10 requires multiple hours to fully charge) and sports enough suction to pull hair, grime, dirt and coins from virtually any surface. This model is a manufacturer-refurbished piece, meaning it was sent back to Dyson, which ran performance tests to ensure it still performs up to standard. Today, this beast of a vacuum is $200, $75 off its usual price.
