The Sony A8F series is the company’s line of super high-end 4K OLED TVs. To put it in layman’s terms: it’s the best Sony makes. If you’re in the market for a 4K OLED TV, meaning you want the absolute best, the Sony A8F should definitely be on your radar.
Sony, alongside LG, is one of the industry leaders for 4K OLED TVs. And even though all OLED TVs are pretty expensive, Sony just slashed $800 off its 65-inch A8F, dropping the price below the $3,000 mark.
(Note: The Sony A8F is very similar to last year’s Sony A1E in terms of picture quality and overall performance, but it has a more conventional stand, which some people prefer.)
Read Some Reviews:
• “This is currently the best TV you can buy. To see one is to want an upgrade (unless you splashed out on an A1 last year), and the visuals and sound are simply stunning. The gaming mode is the only element that is less than awesome, in fact, although you can quibble over the relatively clunky Android smart TV platform, and the lack of any big leap forward from the A1.” — Steve May, T3
• “If you liked the idea of 2017’s Sony A1 but didn’t like the leaning design, this TV is for you. It’s pretty much the same TV, and while it doesn’t represent the very latest in 4K and HDR tech, it’s an excellent TV.” — Ced Yuen, Trusted Reviews
• “It’s not going to suit every living room out there but if you’re looking for a solid OLED at a competitive price, the Sony Bravia A8F can’t be overlooked.” — Fergus Halliday, PC World
