Gucci Tinted Aviators
Save 62%:Many sunglasses available today tout loads of features: polarized lenses, titanium frames, photochromic tints, hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings. While all these are certainly valuable, sometimes it’s nice to have a pair of sunglasses that just look good. For example, Gucci makes a simple tinted aviator designed for everyday wear.
While it doesn’t have loads of performance features, the classic metal-frame silhouette comes with various tinted lenses that will compliment a variety of aesthetics. And now at Nordstrom Rack, these Italian-made shades are 62 percent off and cost just $150. So if you’re in the market for a great pair of stylish sunglasses, check these out before they’re gone. — John Zientek
Butter Pat Industries 12-Inch Cast-Iron Skillet
Save $45 Butter Pat Industries makes skillets you could rightly call modern heirlooms. The cooking surfaces are buttery smooth, they come without machining marks and weigh less than skillets of the same size from other companies. The rounded pour spouts are probably the most effective of any skillet we’ve tested.
Today, the company’s 12-inch skillet is marked down a modest $45. Butter Pat pans don’t go on sale often, so jump now if you want a skillet that can be in your family forever.
Nikwax Hiking Boot Care Bundle
Save 25%: It’s nearly that time of year when your ski boots will trade places in the depths of your closet with the leather hiking boots that you laid down there months ago. After so long a time, those boots might be neglected; maybe they’re a bit dry, perhaps they’re still caked in some late autumn mud. This light mistreatment can have consequences over time — the leather might become stiff, cracked or unwearable — but is easily remedied with Nikwax boot treatment solutions, a twin-pack of which is all of $12 right now at Backcountry.
Caring for leather hiking boots is remarkably easy. All you need to do is wash them, condition the leather and bolster its waterproof coating (read our in-depth guide on how to do this here). This bundle includes Nikwax’s Footwear Cleaning Gel, which you should use to take care of that first step, as well as its Fabric and Leather Proof solution, which will revitalize water repellency not just in leather boots but those made of canvas or synthetic materials also. — Tanner Bowden
Coway Mighty Air Purifier
Save $50 On the cusp of allergy season, a timely deal: the Coway Mighty air purifier is marked down $50 at Amazon.
Recommended by everyone from the Wirecutter to Home Air Guides, the Mighty boasts a four-stage filtration system, washable pre-filter and “eco mode.” It’s not ideal for big rooms — Coway recommends placing it in spaces no bigger than 361 square feet — but it’s the right choice for most bedrooms and city apartments. The Mighty is already significantly less expensive than the competition, and today its discounted below last year’s Prime Day price. —Will Price

Tumi 19 Degree Aluminum Suitcases
Save 20%:Aluminum luggage is both incredibly durable and very striking. Unlike suitcases made with poly shells, aluminum carry-ons will protect your belongings from crush-related damage. And due to the nature of the material, they’ll also develop wear-patterns based on your travel, a jet-setter’s patina.
Though many aluminum suitcases are prohibitively expensive, you can currently save 20 percent on a couple solid options from Tumi. Both the International and Continental Carry Ons are now reduced at East Dane. Featuring four rolling wheels, TSA-integrated combination locks, interior zip pockets and a retractable handle, they’re well worth the small investment they command. — John Zientek
Save 45%: Seiko consistently offers some of the best value for money in watches, even before the sales start. That being said, we all relish the opportunity to save even more, and right now Macy’s is offering deep discounts on tons of popular models, from the Presage dress watch line to the professional Prospex diver models. With such variety on offer, there’s truly something for everybody. Use the code “VIP” at checkout to nab the extra 25% off. — Oren Hartov
Weston Backcountry Splitboards
Save up to $180: You don’t have to ride chairlifts to snowboard. Actually, the best snow and most interesting terrain are far from resort boundary ropes; you just have to walk to get to it. You’ll want a splitboard, a snowboard that separates into two skis for climbing with skins. Weston Backcountry makes some of the best available, and four of its models are on sale at REI right now for 20 percent off, a savings of nearly $200.
In many places, winter is already on its way out, and ski resorts will be closing in a matter of weeks (except in California; Mammoth recently announced that it would stay open through the Fourth of July). This is good news for splitboarders — it means that you’ll have resorts to yourself all spring until the last flake melts. — Tanner Bowden
Bellroy Backpacks Sale
Save 20%: Save up to 20 percent off two sleek backpack styles from Bellroy. The Campus Backpack and Shift Backpack come in a handful of neutral colors, and both have plenty of space for your laptop, a change of clothes, keys, watch, a camera and whatever else you like to carry to and from work every day. Both bags are water-resistant meaning they’ll hold up during a rainy or sunny commute. As you start to think about warmer weather and the possibility of biking to work, a sturdy and spacious backpack should be top of mind. These two packs have just the right amount of space, plus look good whether you’re meeting a client for coffee or dinner or are going from the gym directly to the office. — Meg Lappe
Bose Home Speaker 500
Save $50: Released this past summer, the Bose Home 500 is the company’s first Alexa-enabled smart speaker. You can think of it as being very similar to a Sonos One – you can ask Alexa to change songs, turn up the volume, or control your smart home devices – but the Home 500 can play with other Bose speakers instead of Sonos speakers in a multi-room setup.
If you want an Alexa-enabled smart speaker that sounds great on its own or can be paired with other Bose speakers, the Home 500 is a great and safe bet. Normally $400, you can get it for $50 less on Amazon today. — Andy Frakes
Herman Miller Aeron
Save 51%: By virtually any measure, Herman Miller’s Aeron task chair is one of, if not the, greatest desk chair of all-time. Bill Stumpf and Don Chadwick’s design features supreme adjustability: seat height, arm height, lumbar support, reclining tension and forward and rear tilt locks. It was the first successful integration of airy mesh into task chair design. Shoot, it even earned a spot in the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent collection. Fair or not, any company that releases a high-end office chair today must bear comparison to the Aeron.
Today, the Aeron is 51 percent off on Ebay. These specific products are open-box models, which means they’re somewhere between new and used — so it’s fair to approach with caution (it may be worth contacting the seller before dropping close to $500). That said, this is about as affordable as an Aeron will go for. —Will Price

Moccamaster CDG Coffee Maker
Save $110 Launched in 1969, the original Moccamaster was the first coffee maker ever approved by the Specialty Coffee Association’s rigorous home brewer program, is easy as hell to use and it’s never lost its sleek ’60s aesthetic. Altogether, it’s got serious claims on being the best coffee maker money can buy. Today, the grail coffee pot is marked down a healthy $110 on Massdrop.
Who shouldn’t get a Moccamaster? If you value programmability or scheduling brew times in advance, look toward Oxo’s Barista Brain or Breville’s Precision Brewer. Don’t forget the filters. —Will Price
American Trench Socks
Save an Extra 30%:For many, the sock drawer is one of the more neglected wardrobe nooks. Though socks get repeated wear and laundering, they’re often not replaced as soon as they should be. If your sock drawer is in need of a refresh, head over to American Trench today where you can save an additional 30 percent on all sale socks. Choose from recycled cotton and wool blends in a range of colors — there’s something for everyone. — John Zientek
SOG CrossCut Multi-tool
Save 31%: Most butterfly-style multi-tools build on a base of pliers, with knives, screwdrivers and bottle openers folding out of the handles, but not the SOG CrossCut, which is currently on sale at REI for 31 percent off. Instead, SOG put a pair of spring-loaded scissors front and center, with a knife, bottle opener, two screwdrivers, nail file, ruler, toothpick and tweezers available in its handles. It’s a setup that’s more practical for general users who don’t find a daily need for pliers or more specialized tools like awls and wire cutters, and with a 2.5-inch length when closed it’ll fit neatly on the keychain you already carry. — Tanner Bowden
Kamado Joe XL Grill
Save 21% The Kamado Joe is a heavy, ceramic, heat-retaining, outdoor grill, smoker and oven that’s backed by a lifetime warranty. In some ways, it’s a Big Green Egg that you can buy online (Eggs are only sold by certified retailers on location). But it comes with features the Big Green Egg doesn’t — a “Divide & Conquer cooking” system, ash drawer and a much better-fitting lid. The former is a cooking system that allows grates to slide up or down in certain sections to grill different foods at different temperatures and the latter two are just really nice convenience bonuses.
Uniqlo Rain Jackets SaleSave $50
Right now you can pick up a Uniqlo rain jacket for under $100. With spring right around the corner, you’re going to need a proper rain jacket to handle commutes, travel and more. There are five different styles available, each under $100. Pick from a deep brown, navy or forest green, all in a boxy fit with vintage accents. Tomorrow is the official start to spring, so now’s the best time to stock up and save over $50 on a new style. — Meg Lappe

Au Sabot L’Armor Pocket Knife
Save 25%: Au Sabot’s L’Armor pocket knife still has that function at its heart, but it adds an appropriate amount of flair too. The four-inch blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, a well-rounded Swedish steel known for its hardness and toughness (it’s often used to make ice skate blades) and is available with handles made of palo santo, olive or horn. All three are currently available at Huckberry for 25 percent off. — Tanner Bowden
Blunt XL Umbrella
Save 40%: We love a good rain jacket but admit that they leave something to be wanted. They’re visibly technical in appearance, sweaty in warm weather and most won’t stop your thighs from getting wet. In towns and cities, we often prefer an umbrella, and our favorites are those made by a New Zealand-based company called Blunt. That’s because it uses a radial tensioning system to keep the fabric taught and blunted spokes that are easy on the eyes (in more than one way).
We like them so much that we stock them in the Gear Patrol Store, but right now, Blunt’s XL-sized umbrella, which the company tested in 72mph winds and weighs under two pounds, is 40% off at Massdrop. If you’d rather save your technical rain jacket for the trail, a sturdy umbrella is your best alternative. — Tanner Bowden
TCL 6 Series 4K TV (2018, 65-inch)
Save $180: March Madness is around the corner and if you’re looking for a 65-inch 4K TV to binge watch all the games, TCL’s 6-Series (2018) is a great one to consider. Not only is it a great 4K TV that supports both HDR10 and Dolby Vision, but it’s also one of the few new-ish 65-inch 4K TVs that are under $1,000. In a recent review, CNET‘s David Katzmaier wrote “TCL’s 6 series is the best TV value we’ve ever reviewed.” Amazon just dropped the price of TCL’s 65-inch 6 Series to its lowest price ever. The $1,000 TV is on sale right now for $820 — that’s $180 off. If you’re at all interested in buying a 65-inch 4K TV without having to break the bank, this is as great as ever an opportunity to do just that.

Kershaw Leek Sale
Save 54%: Kershaw’s Leek pocket knife is unremarkable at first glance. It’s slim, with a three-inch, drop-point blade and a thumb stud for opening, like many everyday task-oriented blades. But not all knives are flash and flourish, and the unsuspecting Leek is innovative, iconic even, for the mechanism inside of it.
That small bit of machinery is called SpeedSafe, and it was developed by Ken Onion, a former US Marine and an industry-renowned knife designer who has created more than 30 patents for blade technologies. SpeedSafe was his remedy for restrictive laws against switchblades; it’s a fast and smooth mechanism that springs to life partway through the action of opening the blade (think of it as semi-automatic). If this sounds familiar, that’s because even though Onion designed the tech for Kershaw, many other companies have since adopted similar variations.
The Leek is great because it’s so simple, and if you’re in need of a solidly-reliable pocket knife for everyday use it’s a good option. Right now you can get a Leek with carbon fiber handles for 54 percent off at Massdrop.

Wilfa Coffee Brewer
Save $30: Norwegian designed Wilfa coffee makers are quick to brew, heat with precision and come with a few smart, convenient features. They’re also just gorgeous.
Released in 2017, the WSP-1A features simple flow control, a hot plate, detachable water reservoir (something that should be standard in every coffee maker) and owns both a Red Dot Design Award and iF World Design Guide award. Today, the brewer is marked down to $140 on Ebay — the lowest price we’ve seen for this model, and a far cry from the $400 retail price it launched with a couple of years back. —Will Price
Peet Original Boot Dryer
Save 20%: If you want your boots to last for years, proper care and maintenance are crucial. Along with keeping them clean and oiled, you should make a point to fully dry them if they’re worn in damp conditions. While you could let them dry at room temperature, it’s actually better and faster to use a Peet dryer.
“If your boots are wet, we recommend using a boot dryer like a Peet shoe dryer or let them dry a room temperature,” said Eric Kinney, the vice president of operations at White’s Boots in Spokane, Washington. “We don’t recommend putting your boots on a heater vent. When leather starts to crack there is not much you can do except get it rebuilt.”
The Peet Original Boot Dryer silently dries and deodorizes footwear in three to eight hours and works effectively with a range of materials. The dryer channels slightly-warmed air through two chambers while using less electricity than a standard light bulb. What’s more, it has a staggering 25-year warranty.
Normally $50, this essential piece of gear is now 20 percent off at Amazon and costs just $40. So if you care about keeping your boots in prime condition, pick one of these up today. — John Zientek
Save up to 40% Right now you can pick up a pair of Nike’s best running shoes, the Epic React Flyknit 2 and the Zoom Pegasus Turbo . Each pair is over 30 percent off in a few colors. Both are solid workhorse training shoes, weighing in at 8.4 ounces. For my last half marathon training block, I rotated running in both for speed workouts and long runs, and ran the entire 13.1 miles in the Pegasus Turbos. If you’re running a shorter distance, say 5K or 10K, the Epic React Flyknit 2 is a bouncy choice — you’ll feel like you’re flying through the miles.
Right now, on nike.com there’s a large number of sizes in a few colors for each shoe, but shop while you can as Nike’s gear tends to sell out quickly. If you don’t need a new pair of running shoes there are also a plethora of gym and everyday sneakers and apparel on sale for up to 40 percent off. — Meg Lappe
