Costco has a habit of quietly dropping surprisingly good gear deals, and that’s exactly what’s happened with the Luminox Pacific Diver Ripple 39mm, a compact, no-nonsense dive watch that hit the warehouse giant’s site at roughly half off its original price.

Here’s what you need to know about the watch and why it’s worth considering.

A smaller, smarter Luminox

The Pacific Diver Ripple sits in what might be the brand’s current sweet spot.

Luminox built its reputation on oversized, ultra-legible tool watches designed for military and professional use, but this 39mm version trims things down into something far more everyday-friendly without losing the core appeal.

The stainless steel case houses a black “ripple” dial — a subtle wave pattern that adds depth without sacrificing legibility. Like most Luminox watches, it relies on the brand’s signature self-powered illumination system, which keeps it visible in low-light conditions for years without an external charge.

It’s also a proper dive watch where it counts: 200 meters of water resistance, a unidirectional rotating bezel and a screw-down crown. In other words, all the specs you’d expect from a capable diver, just packaged in a more restrained footprint than the brand’s usual offerings.

That combination — smaller case, traditional dive specs and Luminox’s durability — has made this line one of the more broadly appealing entries in the brand’s lineup since it debuted, as noted when the collection first launched via early coverage of the Ripple series.

Availability and pricing

Costco is selling the Pacific Diver Ripple at a steep discount compared to its typical retail price — effectively bringing it down to about half what you’d expect to pay at traditional retailers.

As with most surprisingly good Costco gear finds, there’s a catch: availability can be unpredictable. The retailer is known for rotating inventory, so there’s no guarantee this deal will be around for long, depending on your location.

If you’re interested, the safest move is to check the Costco product page directly while it’s still listed.
