The recent run of archive-inspired, slim sneaker reissues shows no signs of slowing. While Nike’s US site is full of options, a few undercover gems are quietly landing on the brand’s international markets.

One such stunner is the Y2K-influenced Nike Air Superfly, which has just arrived on Nike Indonesia’s official website as a spring-ready seasonal refresh.

And it was all yellow

The Nike Air Superfly was originally introduced in 2000–2001 as a minimalist performance racing shoe.

While it didn’t achieve mainstream appeal in its initial run, the sleek silhouette returned in 2025 as a casual lifestyle edition, riding the wave of the low-profile, heritage sneaker trend that remains firmly in the zeitgeist.

Fresh for 2026, the shoe is back in a new colorway, Soft Yellow, that’s ideally suited to spring ‘fits.

The Air Superfly retains its low-profile shape and strategic Nike Air technology in the heel, which absorbs impact without adding bulk to the shoe.

The minimal outsole features traction built for casual wear, and the pattern on the forefoot is modeled after athletic spikes, an homage to the shoe’s historical roots.

While there’s no telling for sure if the slim shoe will make it stateside, perhaps an Indonesian-based friend can snag you a pair.

At just $92 USD, it’s a wallet-friendly casual sneaker with deep roots in style and substance.
