Japan-based furniture brand Yamazaki made a name for itself in its home country over a century ago, with affordable and minimalist products to keep messes and clutter in check. In 2014, the brand brought its operations to America hoping to capture the same success it found in Japan.
“I think the fact that our products have modern designs with easy-to-use, simple applications accounts for our success in the American market,” the company’s CEO Shigeru Yamazaki said in a press release. “Ten years from now, I want Yamazaki Home to be known throughout America for our brand: simple yet beautiful, creative and functional with original design.”
Popular products like the slim rolling bathroom cart and leaning ladder rack earned Yamazaki an audience, and now through mid-March, the brand will gradually release new products from its 2020 winter collection.
